Mike Rowell, Strategic Innovation & Chief Information Officer at AlfaMike joined Alfa in 1995 and has served as vice president of corporate development and tax manager prior to his current role as SVP/Strategic Innovation & Chief Information Officer. He is currently responsible for business development activities including product development, acquisitions, strategic planning and business intelligence. In the past, Mike has completed several key acquisitions, which have been pivotal in growing Alfa from a three-state operation to its current 12-state footprint. He has been instrumental in forming the Business Intelligence department from original charter to operating group.

Prior to joining Alfa, Mike worked for Coopers & Lybrand, Ernst & Young and served as an instructor at Troy University.

He is a graduate of the University of Alabama with both a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s in tax accounting. He received his MBA from Georgia State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Alabama.

Mike and his wife, Brenda, live in Montgomery. They have three children, Taylor, Katherine and Sam.
